Duppy Doug tweaked this new video edit to fit the new audio a little bit better with deeper colors and visual tension using Coyo's original video edit as the foundation. This is our favorite take yet of this signature tune which will be rerecorded at Bongo Boy Studios when work on our first official album commences, hopefully this summer (2011). So Santa called on one of his helpers up in Humboldt County, California, Jimmy Foot. He asked Jimmy to create the most fun Christmas album ever, and that’s how the Ska Santas were born! Working deep into the night, the Ska Santas crafted their work: Ken Lawrence on bass, Mike Kimmel on drums, Tim Randles on keys & Jimmy Foot on guitar. Joining the Ska Santas were Justin Schwartzman, who played every horn, and Jesse Jonathan, Santa’s favorite percussionist. Really loved the unusual riff that leads into 'White Christmas' and those widely diverse Jimmy Foot guitar licks all over, brilliantly placed like twinklin' tinsel on a cherry. Five Stars for Wise Guys to follow this time I tell ya. I'm very proud to be involved. All killer, no filler. Check out the full schedule on our Blog or our website's Home and Events pages. Our second set of material will debut during this mini-tour. Some of the new titles include "Auditor" (the dreadlocked dog who lived by Butte's toxic Berkeley Pit), "Empty Town", "Crow Testament" (from a poem by Sherman Alexie), "I Saw The Vortex", "Fingerprints" (from a poem by Leonard Cohen), "Whitemon Water", "Coast To Ghost" and many more mind-blowers.
